Michelle Lindgren wasn't the first teenager to get her work life started in a fast food restaurant, but hers isn't quite the traditional "burger-flipper" story. That's because she worked at the local Bionic Burger, which her parents started in 1977. Michelle never gravitated toward the food preparation part of the business. She much preferred working in the office with her mom learning the bookkeeping and business aspects. "I really learned a lot about accounting and the details of running a successful business," she says.
These days Michelle isn't involved too much with the family restaurant chain, even though she and her two daughters, Brittany and Brylee, do star in one of their television commercials. However, the experience did set her on her own career path as an accountant and bookkeeper for several local businesses. She proceeded to obtain with Honors her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Friends University. With an eye for detail and a mind for business, Michelle excelled at her work, but something was missing.
Nothing is more important to Michelle than her family of three children, Brittany, Brent and Brylee.
She's always been a very social person who enjoys being around people and making every moment count in her hometown area. Michelle loves having friends and family get-together. She enjoys getting out in the community and staying involved in local activities. She has been a member of the Junior League of Wichita, and she donates a portion of every transaction to the Children's Miracle Network. Her son, Brent, has been an avid athlete, and Michelle always enjoyed attending his sporting events and cheering him on with the other families in the stands. As a Wichita native, she takes great pride in her deep connection to this area.
Michelle eventually realized that accounting was not her true calling, and when a friend suggested the idea, decided to pursue a career in real estate. It didn't take long for her to fall in love with the business as it offered the best of both worlds to her. Michelle was able to work directly with people and make a positive impact in her community while being able to utilize her strong organizational skills, understanding of finances and attention to detail as a profession. "There's nothing more rewarding to me than being able to help another family make the most of their real estate opportunities in this area," she says. "It's what inspires me to be my best every day."
With attention to detail and a commitment to quality, Michelle is focused on what matters most to you and your family.
Michelle understands that every moment counts throughout the real estate process. Whether you are buying or selling, she takes the time to understand what matters most to you and makes sure every single detail is covered. Michelle helps you explore every option and crunches every number so that you can make the right decisions for your future. She knows how important your home is to you and your family—both financially and emotionally—and dedicates herself to your success.
